Globe valve is a kind of valve that regulates the flow of fluid in a pipeline or process system by using a disc or plug moves perpendicular to the flow of the fluid. The main components of a globe valve include a valve body, a disc or plug, a stem and a seat. Globe valve has very reliable cut-off function, as well as disc stroke is in direct proportion with seat port opening area, which is very good for flow shutting-off or regulation and throttling. This valve can be installed horizontally or vertically, single-directional, the arrow direction shown on the body should be same as the fluid flow direction.
